Objectives:
Stop The Bleed!
1. Discuss essential elements in the historical development of Stop the Bleed programs.
2. Identify contributions of individuals and organizations to the current Stop the Bleed initiative.
3. Demonstrate correct application of tourni-quets in bleeding emergencies.
4. Practice wound management and control of bleeding in an emergency.
5. Formulate a list of items necessary for a per-sonal Stop the Bleed kit.

Stop The Panic!
1. Learn how to keep yourself safe
2. Be able to recognize when the acuity of a situation increases
3. Learn what to say and what to say in stressful situations
4. Be able to recognize and assist a person experiencing anxiety
5. Be able to recognize and assist a person experiencing a panic attack
6. Learn the skill of empathic listening
